Leaving the “buffet”, we went to the train show. We stopped to get breakfast first, but due to COVID (understandably… I guess? this really could have been done better while still keeping things safe) the “free, all inclusive” breakfast buffet was, err, interesting:
Then I got Coffee Cake out of his little sleeping bag and had breakfast while I waited for Christopher to be ready.

I was excited to wear the outfit I had planned for today. Here’s the second day summary of our wonderful anniversary getaway! We were up pretty early. I’m gonna get some chores done and then work on another commission. Just some happy stuff to chase away some of these clouds. I have other stuffies who have gotten a bandana here or a ribbon there but these are the most significant changes. I got them from AliExpress so that will take a few weeks to arrive. However, we will be going to the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory where Franklin was born –I cannot visit that place with anyone but Franklin.Īnd then of course there is Raisin. Franklin is basically retired these days. It is indeed very rare for me to travel with two bears (a first) as well as Franklin’s first trip in many years. He gave up his massive rainbow bow for an oversized sweater, cute bandana and new ribbon:Īlong with veteran Franklin, Beanie will be coming along with me on the upcoming New England trip. After he survived the third purge, I decided it was time to make him a name necklace and dress him up:įrito is actually a very funny and expressive Folkmanis puppet.Ĭhurrasco also got a name necklace, finally:Īnd my new stuffed little t-rex, now named Gao, got a name necklace and a bandana that I made for him myself:īeanie got kind of revamped. Frito has survived several purges and sat in my “donation” pile three times. One of the older stuffies who got pimped out is Frito. Here is Raisin, holding the haul and eagerly awaiting his own goodies to be made: I’ve been determined to make some of my newer (and older, neglected) stuffies their own bandanas and name necklaces. The other day I went to the craft store and got some ribbon and beads and fabric and similar things. Let’s like… just… talk about other stuff for a while, yeah? I can only take this other stuff for so long.
