You can do this by clicking the power button in the applications menu at the top left. As a macOS user make sure that XQuartz is installed. When you’re done, don’t forget to log out. To connect to X2Go, you need a client e.g the X2Go client you can find here. (Note: Depending on settings, your desktop may look a little different.)

Once you’ve installed the X2go client, open it with this icon: X2Go is open source remote desktop software for Linux that uses a modified NX 3 protocol. After doing that you should be able to proceed with these instructions.
